One-off Wheel Throwing Classes

What We Offer

Discover the joys and mindful pleasure of throwing clay on a wheel. Want to see if wheel throwing pottery is for you? Or do you wanting to take your pottery skills to the next level and explore new shapes, sizes, textures and forms in clay? Then look no further. Try one of our fun and intimate two and a half-hour wheel throwing sessions. We only offer a maximum of two people per class. The price quoted is per person per two hours. You can request a time and date from me by on the Contacts page please. What's included: - Use of wheels and tools - Clay - Glazes - Firing of up to three pieces - A drink and a snack I will trim, glaze and fire any pots you wheel-throw in a single session. What to bring: - Towel - Apron - Enthusiasm - Suggest you wear casual / older clothes and closed-in shoes. - Hair tie Extras: - If you make more than three pots, glazing and firing will incur extra costs which we will discuss with you. - Vessels are fired twice and weighed after firing, making them lighter and stronger - Your pieces are usually ready to collect about 3 weeks after the course (depending on drying time and the weather!)

Cancellation Policy

REFUNDS / ABSENCE / TRANSFERS We DO NOT offer refunds or transfers if you change your mind. Please be sure you are able to commit to the class, course or workshop dates and times prior to booking. Our classes generally usually run at full capacity and therefore cannot offer make-up classes. If you are unable to attend a class, please contact me at jacqui.louw@bigpond.com or on 0439 812 967 to make alternative arrangements. OoPs - One-off Pottery Studio reserves the right to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances such as insufficient enrolments, or (dare we say it) a pandemic. You will be notified prior to the class if cancellation of the class is deemed necessary and a pro-rata refund will be provided.
