What We Offer

Discover the pleasure of the feel of clay and of making vessels, functional wares or simple decorative ceramic pieces. Each two-hour session will cater to all abilities. You can sign up for one or as many sessions as you like. Price quoted is per person per two hours. You will learn about: - Planning what you want to make - Building ceramic forms, learning the beautiful hand-building skills such as coiling, pinching, slab forming, slip-casting or using moulds - Decorating surfaces - Glazing with underglazes Suitable for adults with all levels of skill, from beginners to advanced. Please bring: Ideas, protective clothing (an apron and towel), drawings and/or photos. Included: Clay, use of studio tools, glazes and firing of up to three pieces. Extras: If you make more than three pieces, we can glaze and fire them at an extra cost, which we will discuss with you. Please send me a message from the Contacts page to request a date and time.

Cancellation Policy

REFUNDS / ABSENCE / TRANSFERS We DO NOT offer refunds or transfers if you change your mind. Please be sure you are able to commit to the class, course or workshop dates and times prior to booking. Our classes generally usually run at full capacity and therefore cannot offer make-up classes. If you are unable to attend a class, please contact me at jacqui.louw@bigpond.com or on 0439 812 967 to make alternative arrangements. OoPs - One-off Pottery Studio reserves the right to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances such as insufficient enrolments, or (dare we say it) a pandemic. You will be notified prior to the class if cancellation of the class is deemed necessary and a pro-rata refund will be provided.
